The event might fall on the same day as President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20. The Daily Beast cited sources close to the president. They reported that Trump is attempting to stay relevant even as the world prepares for a Biden administration. Business Insider reports the discussions of a 2024 campaign event mark the latest move in Trump's attempt to derail the start of Biden's presidency.

The Times claims that Lara, who is married to Trump's second eldest child Eric, has told associates that she is mulling for the Senate in North Carolina in 2022. Lara Trump grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. The state's Senate seat will be available when Republican Sen. Richard Burr retires at the end of his term.
President Donald Trump is on the brink of losing the 2020 election. Trump's former chief of staff predicted that the president would run again in 2024, and maybe even in 2028. On Thursday, Mick Mulvaney told an Irish think tank that he "absolutely" expected Trump to run next time if he loses this presidential election. Former 2020 Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale made a $200m miscalculation that left the campaign nearly flat broke, a month before election day. According to Business Insider, Parscale had counted on boatloads of last-minute cash donations to nearly double the dollar amount of previous monthly hauls.
