The Monterey Car Week is heading towards the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the end of a stunning week for car collectors and enthusiasts worldwide. Following Bugatti's world premiere of the Centodieci for Friday's highlight at The Quail - A Motorsports Gathering, the new Bugatti now joins a unique exhibit at Le Domaine Bugatti. In the year of its 110th anniversary, the French hyper sports car manufacturer celebrates the models of modern company history.Not only is Bugatti represented on the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance with beautiful pre-war models from private ownership, but also, as it was the case last year, Stephan Winkelmann and Bugatti Design Director Achim Anscheidt will be using their expertise to reinforce the jury to evaluate vehicles in 22 categories for originality, functionality and elegance. While wandering the sacred turf from one historic piece of automotive art to the next, Le Domaine Bugatti is a testimony to the fact that Bugatti continues to produce the most extraordinary automobiles in the world, even in the modern era.
British builder of exotic and luxurious sports cars, Aston Martin’s current model range includes six different vehicles, most with convertible ‘Volante’ versions. On the horizon is a new venture for the luxury sports brand: a compact crossover called the DBX. New lap record of 1:35.663 set for the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach circuit. Record set in a production 2019 NSX driven by the legendary Peter Cunningham. Leading up to the 45th running of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, the iconic race's new title sponsor has established a production car record around the 1.968 mile historic street circuit in the 2019 Acura NSX. In the capable hands of SCCA Hall-of-Famer and long-time Acura racing partner, Peter Cunningham, the 2019 NSX established a new production car lap record of 1:35.663. The record setting run was made with an unmodified NSX, fitted with road-legal tires.The 2019 NSX will also serve as the official Pace Car for the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. Race action includes a run for the checkered flag by Acura Team Penske, fielding a pair of ARX-05 Daytona Prototypes driven by Helio Castroneves and Juan Pablo Montoya along with Ricky Taylor and Dane Cameron co-driving, respectively, in the BUBBA Burger Sports Car Grand Prix at Long Beach on Saturday. Acura will also join the field in Sunday's NTT IndyCar Series race with a car campaigned by Meyer Shank Racing and driven by Jack Harvey, marking the return of Acura colors to Indy Car racing for the first time since 1994.
The 2018 ADAC GT Masters was the twelfth season of the ADAC GT Masters, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the German automobile club ADAC.
