Seoul, Jun 14 (EFE/EPA).- South Koreans on Monday celebrated traditional 'Dano' festival, one of South Korea’s most important festive days along with Seollal, or Lunar New Year, and Chuseok, or Thanksgiving day.The festival falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar. Only 30 audience members were allowed to attend the performance amid the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Kathmandu, Apr 15 (EFE/EPA).- Thousands of Nepalese gathered Thursday to celebrate the Bisket Jatra festival despite the government's request of no gatherings of more than 25 persons due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Bisket festival is celebrated to mark the Nepali New Year 2076, especially among the Newar communities in Bhaktapur. During the festival, devotees will carry a chariot of Hindu gods and goddesses and smear vermilion-color powder on each other's faces.
