Barcelona (Spain) Apr 15 (EFE).- Arlet, a 7-year-old girl from Santa Perpetua de la Mogoda (Barcelona) who has lost two of her grandparents due to the coronavirus, has launched the solidarity project 'Paint clothespins' to collect funds through social media to fight the pandemic.The initiative has reached than 20,000 followers on InstagramFOOTAGE AND SOUNDBITES OF ARLET AND HIS FATHER JORDI HERNÁNDEZ.-JORDI HERNÁNDEZ: "The idea came from Arlet one of these days when at home drawing, entertaining herself since there were no school classes. She asked me 'Dad, we can set up a shop and sell the clothespins I have painted, one euro each, and we can give all the money we collect to hospitals to help people who are ill'. I saw that the idea wasn't viable but because she wanted to help I started thinking about possibilities to do something."-ARLET: "What I like the most is that children, grandparents, uncles, etc. paint clothespins, send messages...This project is very important for collecting money for research so that no more people die."
