South Koreans pay homage to ancestors to mark Lunar New Year

DMZ, Feb 12 (EFE/EPA).- South Korean displaced people on Friday paid homage to their ancestors in Imjingak, near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), to mark the Lunar New Year.Lunar New Year is one of Korea's major traditional holidays.Celebrations run from 11 to 14 February 2021.During this period, many South Koreans return to their family homes to share traditional food and pay homage to their ancestors.
