Pour préserver leurs enfants du choc de la séparation, ils s'arrangent à l'amiable, s'autorisent à voir d'autres personnes, à nouer d'autres relations. Mais David est jaloux et veut absolument récupérer sa femme. Quand un autre homme s'installe avec Nikkie, il sent sa famille lui échapper et il perd tout contrôle. Een wanhopige David zet alles op alles om zijn gezin met vier kinderen bij elkaar te houden wanneer zijn vrouw Nikkie wil scheiden.
