Brussels considers Tunisian president's statements on migrants 'worrying'

European Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson calls Tunisian President Kais Saied's statements on African migrants "worrying" but says the EU will continue to cooperate with this "key country" to prevent illegal immigration to Europe. Last month, Saied ordered officials to take "urgent measures" to tackle irregular migration, claiming without evidence that "a criminal plot" was underway to change Tunisia's demographic makeup. He claimed that migrants were behind most crime in the North African country. SOUNDBITE
