Spanish minister of presidency visits Advanced Command Post following eruption of La Palma's volcano

El Paso, Sep 30 (EFE).- The Spanish Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, visited Thursday the Advanced Command Post facilities, where he was informed about the current situation of La Palma's volcanic eruption. Scientists monitoring the volcano warned Thursday that a forecast change of wind direction could blow gases and ash over populated areas, lowering the air quality.The lava flow from the volcano that erupted on the Cumbre Vieja ridge 11 days ago hit the ocean on Tuesday evening, releasing toxic fumes.
