Spanish expert says it is too early to tell when volcanic eruption on La Palma will end

Description

El Paso, Oct 2 (EFE).- The seismography specialist of the Spanish National Geographic Institute (IGN), Itahiza Domínguez, stated Saturday that there are no signs of depletion of magma or gas emission from La Palma's volcano and that it was too early to tell how long the eruption would last. (Camera: EFE).SHOT LIST: THE AFTERMATH OF THE VOLCANIC ERUPTION OF CUMBRE VIEJA ON LA PALMA ISLAND, IN CANARY ISLANDS, SPAIN.SOUND BITES: SEISMOGRAPHY SPECIALIST OF THE SPANISH NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC INSTITUTE (IGN), ITAHIZA DOMÍNGUEZ (IN SPANISH).TRANSLATIONS: There are no signs of depletion of magma or gas emission. It is too early to tell and even so it is not clear that it would be possible to predict when it will end. We will see it over time. It is still too early to know if the eruption will last a few weeks or much longer.
