The Surface Pro 2 can function as full Windows 8 tablet, laptop and desktop PC. But it's not cheap and unless you really need this power in tablet form, you may be better off with a separate laptop and tablet. Here's PC Advisor's Surface Pro 2 video review.
Microsoft unveiled the follow-up to its hybrid tablet/ultrabook on Tuesday: the Surface Pro 4, a lightweight alternative to a traditional laptop. It also announced two Lumia 950 smartphones — one with a 5.2-inch display (the Lumia 950) and a larger one at 5.7 inches (the Lumia 950 XL) — and announced more details related to its augmented reality HoloLens device. The Surface Pro expanded from 12 inches to 12.3 inches in the diagonal to give more real estate for Windows 10.
The full desktop version of Microsoft Office will soon be available in the Windows Store, with Microsoft planning to introduce it in June. We’d already heard a number of rumours to this effect, and at Microsoft’s big launch event this week – where Windows 10 S and the Surface Laptop were revealed – Terry Myerson, Executive VP of the Windows and Devices Group, announced that full-fat Office was about to arrive in the Windows Store. Note that Office apps are already available in the Windows Store, but these are cut-down and touch-focused apps as opposed to the fully fledged versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

To celebrate the UK launch of Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 tablet-cum-laptop, we visited London's National Portrait Gallery with artist James Mylne, who is best known for his work in creating portraits of celebrities and famous figures using ballpoint pen.
Microsoft has reportedly started demonstrating Surface hardware inside the company.
