'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Makes $145 Million At Domestic Box Office

Description

According to Variety, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" blasted off with 145 million dollars in ticket sales in its opening weekend at the domestic box office. The number is far above the 93 million dollars in the first Guardians made in its opening weekend back in August 2014. The sequel opened at more than 43 hundred locations. "Vol. 2" received many positive first reactions from fans and mostly favorable reviews from critics, with an 81 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
