There wasn’t a single new nationwide release this week, so the number one spot at the box office was easily held by “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” and several week-old films reclaimed a position among the top five.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” devoured the Thanksgiving weekend box office, leaving the leftovers for fellow franchises.
As expected, ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’ has settled into a nest atop the box office and is expected to remain number one until December’s big hitters grace theaters.
