Heavy rains have caused the Seine River to rise 4 meters above its usual level, causing the riverbanks in certain areas of Paris to flood, leading to the closure of roads, public transport infrastructure and even part of the Louvre Museum.FOOTAGE OF RAIN
The level of the River Seine exceeds four metres in some areas of Paris, following heavy rains throughout the weekend. According to the latest forecasts, the alert level remains yellow, meaning major damage is likely to be avoided although access to the river banks remains closed. IMAGES
