Sram has stolen a march on its competitors by being the first to market with a lower-priced, third tier offering of its proven wireless eTap AXS shifting. No longer is wireless electronic shifting the preserve of superbikes and pros, as Sram has now trickled down this technology to potentially get it into the hands of a lot more riders, as crucially the lower tier pricing means we could see it available on bikes from as little as £2,500. With so many technology companies taking the safe route of incremental change, something utterly new can completely shock you. Wednesday, the Amazon Kindle Oasis e-reader, which goes on pre-order, and is that fresh and different. Essentially discarding the previous design in favor of a paper-thin display attached to a somewhat thicker side grip, the Oasis is as different from its e-book reader predecessor as the second generation Kindle was from Amazon's first e-reader, which was originally introduced in 2007. Amazon’s goals in the ensuing six or so years was to make the device thinner and lighter while constantly increasing screen resolution, brightness and battery life. Along the way, Amazon added features like touchscreen, gestures and screen-lighting.
Kyrgyzstan appears to have blocked TikTok after the Central Asian country's security services called to restrict the social media app to "protect children". Kyrgyzstan's digital ministry on April 16 said it had "informed telecommunications operators of the need to limit access to TikTok, based on a decision by the security services". IMAGES
