Samsung delighted their fans by making the Galaxy S7 phones waterproof again. The phones can withstand being under at least a meter of water and for at least 30 minutes. But it turns out the phones don’t just handle being dunked — they also know when they’re wet. S7 will warn you if it detects any moisture lurking in the one weak spot in any waterproof phone design: its charging port. One user reported that his phone would no longer charge after performing a dunk test. When he plugged his Samsung fast charger in, the phone displayed a message that moisture had been detected in the charging port and the current never started flowing.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is the same great device as the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge — it's just way more rugged and water-resistant. But the best tech spec of them all is easily the battery: This phone is packing a 3,500 milliamp-hour battery. In comparison, the Galaxy S6's battery holds a mere 2,500 mAh.
