Mercedes-Benz rolled out its new A-Class to the 2018 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and showed off its new Mercedes-Benz User Experience, or MBUX, smart multimedia system. The MBUX combines a futuristic display, Optical Finger Navigation, and voice controls with a high-level computing package, including 8GB of RAM, two different Nvidia graphics cards, and an AI recommendation system.
Luxury custom car firm Garson showcased their Swarovski-crystal studded Mercedes-Benz at the Tokyo Auto Salon in Chiba on Friday. Mercedes-AMG unveiled their much-anticipated Project One hypercar at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show on Tuesday and it was introduced by none other than F1 legend Lewis Hamilton. The hypercar is said to have a 1.6-litre engine with an output of more than 1,000 horsepower, reaching speed of some 218 miles per hour. The German auto giant is only planning to produce a total of 275 Project One hypercars and they awe-inspiring vehicles will come with a hyper pricetag - 2.275 million euro, or about 2.725 million dollars each, plus applicable taxes.
Mercedes-Benz presented its Concept EQA small electric hatchback at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show on Tuesday. The Concept EQA is a compact all-electric hatchback, containing a flat battery pack under its cabin. Dual electric motors, one for each axle, produce a combined output of 200 kilowatts, equal to about 270 horsepower, and 368 pound-feet of torque, allowing the concept to jet from 0 to 60 in about 5 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz first unveiled the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show. Business Insider reports the new 2021 Mercedes-Maybach SUV starts at $160,500. The car will arrive at dealerships later this year. Mercedes says the Maybach SUV combines the "body design and technical basis of the GLS with the luxury of a top-class sedan." The top speed is governed to 130 mph. A 9-speed automatic and all-wheel drive are standard. All four seats are heated and cooled and have massagers.
