FCA Heritage - the Group department dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the historic legacy of the Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia and Abarth brands - exhibits at the 37th edition of "Automotoretrò", staged at Lingotto Fiere, Turin from 31 January to 3 February together with the tenth edition of "Automotoracing". This prestige event opens the programme of celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the Abarth brand, which FCA Heritage intends to mark by exhibiting fine classic cars originating from the Scorpion's partnership with the other Italian brands now belonging to the FCA Group.
The 23rd "Vernasca Silver Flag" has just ended, a historical re-enactment of the Castell'Arquato-Vernasca time trial that was disputed from 1953 to 1972. This edition, dedicated to the world of French competitions, saw 220 authentic jewels to form a museum traveling ever so careful to tell the whole story of sport on four wheels. On the starting grid the precious 1900 Sport Spider of 1954, made available by the Arese Alfa Romeo Historical Museum: it is a very rare racing spider, produced in only two copies. An authentic jewel belonging to the collection of FCA Heritage, the body that deals with the enhancement and promotion of the company's historical heritage. The "Silver" is not a race but the dynamic aspect allows you to recreate the atmosphere of authentic competitions. This is the magic of the event, able to excite not only the public but also the competitors. Among the illustrious names that have been awarded Arturo Merzario, on board the 1900 Sport Spider and Bernard Darniche with the Lancia Stratos. The Best of Show among the post-war cars went to the Alfa Romeo 2000 Sportiva, one of the two models built, belonging to Axel Marx. A car that the Swiss collector managed to make his own after almost thirty years of courtship.

The employees at the Heritage Hub, the headquarters of FCA Heritage in Turin, which opened in 2019, are working with full vigor.
FCA Heritage, the division of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) for classic vehicles from the brands Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia, has put the new “Officine Classiche” into operation. The Restoration and Certification Atelier provides services that are highly valued by classic car owners. The range of services extends from the creation of certificates of authenticity, through technical support, maintenance and repair services to complete restorations. With a new look and expanded space, the classic workshops do justice to their role as the flagship of FCA Heritage.
