Apple's Next Big Product To Pair Computer Glasses

Apple is working on new products in its $5 billion headquarters and research labs. Business INsider reports that Apple CEO Tim Cook and his executive team are constantly planning for three and five years into the future and asking themselves what computers could look like. It seems like the company has decided it will launch a pair of smartglasses that can impose digital information onto the real world through its advanced lenses. Apple recently acquired a small Colorado based company, Akonia Holographics. The company wasn't very well known, and although no price was announced, it was a small purchase, unlikely to be listed in regulatory filings. But the transaction still reveals that Apple is working on some kind of head-mounted gadget.

Despite initial rumors that the next-generation 4.7-inch iPhone could be even slimmer than the iPhone 6, the leaked photos show no changes to the casing. If the photos are legit, any differences in thickness, length or width are too small to notice. This doesn't come as a huge surprise, considering the iPhone is on an "S" cycle this year, which traditionally has fewer design changes and more internal upgrades.
