Uber Plans To Ban Riders With Low Scores

Description

Uber will soon ban passengers with low ratings, the company announced this week. Uber didn't say what minimum riders would need to meet or what infractions might ding them the most. Twitter users compared the new plan to Black Mirror and China's social credit system. Other people said the move by Uber was akin to China's social credit system, reports Business Insider. China's social credit is designed to reward and penalize people based on their behavior. Many praised the move by Uber as a way to protect drivers, especially after the violent attack viral video.
